K.R.C. Genk will receive 5.5 million euros from Ismael Saibari's transfer to Bayern München. The Limburgers have a ten percent stake in the total transfer sum. Saibari played himself into the spotlight of many clubs, but Bayern München is likely to be his next destination. Vincent Kompany is a fan of Saibari. He made this clear earlier when Bayern München faced PSV in the Champions League. In the Netherlands, it is already reported that Saibari has reached a personal agreement with Bayern München. However, there is no agreement at the club level. PSV hopes to make Saibari the most expensive outgoing transfer in the club's history. Currently, this honor is still reserved for Hirving Lozano, who left PSV for Napoli in the summer of 2019 for a fee of 50 million euros. K.R.C. Genk will likely not mind that Kompany and Bayern München have set their sights on Saibari. The Limburgers have a ten percent stake in the total transfer sum. This is because Saibari left the youth of K.R.C. Genk in the summer of 2020 to join the youth of PSV. There was no transfer fee at the time, but Genk managed to secure a 10% resale percentage. If Bayern München were to pay around 55 million euros for Saibari, 5.5 million euros would flow to the Cegeka Arena. Saibari is now 25 years old. As a result, Genk is no longer entitled to a training compensation, but it still has the right to extra money through the solidarity mechanism. When a player is transferred internationally with a transfer fee, 5% of the transfer fee is deducted and distributed among his training clubs. Genk is one of them. Saibari was in the youth of Genk from 2018 to 2020. As a result, the club has a further right to around 825,000 euros according to Transfermarkt. Saibari also spent some time in the youth teams of RSC Anderlecht and KV Mechelen. Paars-wit and Malinwa will therefore also benefit from the transfer. If we assume a transfer fee of 55 million euros, RSC Anderlecht and KV Mechelen will each receive around 413,000 euros for a player who left the respective clubs at least ten years ago.
