K.R.C. Genk will play a friendly match against Fortuna Sittard this Saturday. Manager Wouter Vrancken's side will face the Dutch Eredivisie team at the Cegeka Arena.
KRC Genk said the friendly match will be played at the stadium. The club added: "And good news: all supporters are welcome." Blauw Wit members can attend for free, while other supporters pay ten euros for a ticket. Young people under eighteen pay five euros.
Ticket sales are currently open and supporters must request or claim a ticket in advance. The stadium gates open at 11:30. For the match, the south stand and seated sections H through M will be available. Additional stands may be opened if ticket demand requires it.
Food and drink points are open in the galleries of both the seated and standing tribunes. Mijn Café and the Luminex Fanzone are closed, but the fanpoint in that fanzone is open. Free parking is available around the stadium, with supporters asked to follow the instructions of parking attendants.
The friendly comes as Genk sit tenth in the Jupiler Pro League with nine points from seven games. The team lost its last league match 3-0 to Club Brugge. Top scorer Rafiu Durosinmi, who has five goals this season, started that game. The full standings and upcoming fixtures are available on this site.
Genk concludes its preparation with this match, ahead of the league restart against Kortrijk on October 10.
